We ventured to Harper’s Ferry for our first group outing outside Maryland. Despite the 100 degree heat we braved the nature and hiked for a mile with  Prof. Sung Hoon Kang and his group.

We had been psyched all week for the outing .

We enjoyed the scenery, good lunch at the rustic Country Cafe and ice cream!
